Author Tina Reibl

Tina is the daughter of an opera singer and grew up surrounded by music. In preparation for her postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama she had singing lessons at Windsor Castle with one of the Queen's choristers, Timothy Wilson.

After graduating she became a professional singer for a year before pursuing her true passion for music education.

Tina taught at music services, a stage school, a college, and ran her own sucessful music shool where she delivered workshops in many settings.

In 2006 Tina started to work as a teacher's trainer for Dragonfly training, offering courses in accelerated learning and engaging music teaching throughout the UK. This work was later supplemented by teaching the KS2 Wider Opportunity programme for Trinity Guildhall. After the scheme ended Tina worked as an examiner for Trinity College for three years.

For the last ten years Tina has been directing a large Commmunity Choir in Maidenhead. The choir have shared the stage with Ken Burton, Tina May, Howard Jones, Laurie Holloway, Charlie Dore, Karen Gibson and Steve V. King from The Drifters and performed at many prestigious venues, including Windsor Castle.

The choir has gone on singing and art retreats in Spain and Turkey which Tina is offering on a regular basis.

Tina describes herself as an 'edutainer', holding the firm belief that music should be fun and accessible to all. She has developed a unique style of choir leading that allows everybody, regardless of previous experience or knowledge, to be able to particpate and grow in a choral setting.

She uses her skill to blend and entertain a choir whilst working as an enrichment lecturer on cruise ships around the world.

Tina would love to share her treasure trove of warm-ups and energisers with many choir leaders and teachers.
